The Euro Corps

Who in the general public knew of this military unit? Very few, I would guess. It has its own website: http://www.eurocorps.org/ which is in English, French and German. It is defined in Wikipedia as follows:

The European Corps, also abbreviated Eurocorps, is an intergovernmental military corps of approximately 1,000 soldiers stationed in Strasbourg, Alsace, France. The corps had its headquarters established in May 1992, activated in October 1993 and declared operational in 1995. The nucleus of the force is the Franco-German Brigade established in 1987.[1]

the Eurocorps subtitle is “A Force for EU and NATO”.

Other countries have participated. It is also discussed on a private website and this can be downloaded as a pdf file: The version in Swedish  is here: http://militart.nu/artiklar/eu_arme.pdf, by Lars Gyllenhaal.
